For my Freestyle Collage No. 62, my theme was "happenings in the dark". I decided not to pursue a story for this collage theme, only present the scene that inspired me after locating the dark forest in gray and black image. Sometimes, an image I discover just inspires me to create a collage.
In preparing my theme, I located a unique forest image I intended to use as a background that paired well with an LMAC Original Contest Image.
To represent the female in the forest, I discovered a haunting image of a woman in black and white. Other images that rounded out my scene were my pure fractals and images I located in the LMAC's database, the #LIL.
Below are the additional images I included to complete my theme:
Orange and black flowers by elvina1332 at Pixabay
Woman in black and white by R-region at Pixabay
White Owl by UpMeHolidays at PurePNG
Philippine Hawk-Owl Contributed to the #LIL by @digitalis
White flower Contributed to the #LIL by @tejimundo
Pure Fractal titled "White Fish Jumping" created by me in Apophysis
Pure Fractal titled "Butterfly-Purple" created by me in Apophysis
I blended the images in Canva, my design program. I'm able to take advantage of the upgraded features in my Annual Pro Membership Subscription. Below are my procedures:
To a blank, white canvas, I added the forest image and resized it to fit the screen as a background.
Added LMAC city image. Removed background, colorized, and positioned in bottom of scene.
Added an orange flower background image and positioned it in the center of the screen.
Added female black and white image. Removed background and repositioned in center of scene.
Added flowers, birds, and butterflies. Duplicated and removed backgrounds as needed. Completed the project.
Below is my completed project:
Thanks for your visit. I appreciate it. I hope you like my freestyle collage theme.
