For my Freestyle Collage No. 34, my theme is dark angels. Protectors or hindrances? Two sides of an issue fighting for control exist in all situations. It matters from which point of view you are leaning toward. One side will always tend to strangle the other in order to prevail. In the middle often sit the innocent victims. Which voice is the loudest or which tactic will prevail in the end?
In creating my freestyle theme, I borrowed from a previous LMAC Contest image to serve as the landscape.
In preparing my theme, I wanted to highlight two of my pure fractals I created in Apophysis, the fractal rendering software. What can I say about this first pure fractal. I was amazed at the outcome. Using the variation Julia 3D and "blob", the final image resembled pages from a book or sheets of paper swirling. The empty space in the middle served as the perfect feature to insert a face or object.
My next pure fractal is an amazing image that served as the city background. Portions of the fractal were white that resembled buildings. I rendered this fractal transparent so that it could be paired with other images. However, when placed on a black background, you can see the full details. Having this fractal serve as the middle portion of my scene left room for the bottom landscape portion. This would be filled by the LMAC contest image mentioned above.
Below are the additional images I included to complete my theme. For the female faces, I located two images from free sources. The first female image I used in the foreground. The second image I only required the hands to the cheek and the distorted face in the background.
As usual, images from the LMAC database, LIL, contributed by members were helpful in completing my scene.
Ceramic face with back hair gothic posture PxFuel
Woman face cracked at PxFuel
Rain drops by OpenClipart-Vectors at Pixabay
Half moon Contributed to the #LIL by @redheadpei
Utilizing my upgraded Annual Pro Membership Subscription at Canva, I was able to upload all the images, then blend them to create the scene.
Here are my steps to creating my scene from left to right:
Added city fractal and landscape contest image to blank canvas.
Added both female faces.
Added pages fractal as head cover, then positioned chosen female face.
Duplicated city and landscape to fill in scene.
Decide which face for foreground and added deer from contest image.
Added remaining images.
Below is my completed freestyle collage.
Thanks for your visit. I hope you liked my freestyle collage theme.
