For my Freestyle Collage No. 35, my theme is advocates for the environment. Recently I read where plastic and other toxic substances in our planet's waters are increasing.
This, in turn, increases the dangers to all marine life. Fish and other marine animals choking on plastic items they believe are a food source is the primary menace. Other high ranking dangers are wires and net where the marine animals become entangled.
My freestyle scene captures the essence of this danger. There are numerous organizations that purport to help. One such organization is 4 Ocean. I have donated to this organization. I have also purchased items they sell from the plastics they retrieve from the oceans.
During the pandemic, one such item was a Face Mask Support Frame (4-pack) that secured masks in place. I bought several boxes for my immediate and extended family. Part of my purchase would be donated to the ocean cleaning project.
It is reported that plastic production and consumption will increase significantly over the next decade. Let's do our part to minimize our use of plastics. Also, be conscious of littering our beaches that may inadvertently wash the plastics out to sea.
Para mi Freestyle Collage nº 35, mi tema es la defensa del medio ambiente. Hace poco leí que el plástico y otras sustancias tóxicas están aumentando en las aguas de nuestro planeta.
Esto, a su vez, aumenta los peligros para toda la vida marina. La principal amenaza son los peces y otros animales marinos que se asfixian con objetos de plástico que creen que son una fuente de alimento. Otros peligros importantes son los cables y las redes en los que se enredan los animales marinos.

In preparing my theme, I decided to utilize the LMAC original contest image from Round 173.
This photo provided an excellent city background.

Utilizing Canva, I was able to upload all the images in order to blend them. First, I added the background free image of the woman whose face is over the water.
Next, I added the LMAC contest photo for the city background. I removed the background, then arranged the city in the middle of the canvas.
My Annual Pro Membership Subscription enables me to utilize features such as background removal and sizing. Also, I was to duplicate the background images to fill in the scene on the canvas.
Third, I added some features to see how they would blend with the background.
The moon, lighthouse, lightning rod used with the lighthouse, and fractal bowl in the water looked nice. LMAC member, @onyechi's black birds always adds drama to my scenes.
Finally, the mermaid contributed to the LIL by @alex2alex was a nice whimsical touch.
Utilizando Canva, pude subir todas las imágenes para mezclarlas. Primero, añadí la imagen sin fondo de la mujer cuyo rostro está sobre el agua.
