HIVE IS ALIVE!!!

Yes, that's for sure and I would love to continue my journey in the blockchain world through HIVE. And in order for me to officially announce my journey in HIVE, I decided to join this challenge by @anomadsoul. If you haven't heard of the challenge yet, feel free to CHECK HERE.

WHO AM I?

Don't mind the eyebags...

I am a 29-year old human from Cebu, Philippines. Three years ago, I started blogging on a supposed to be decentralized blockchain platform, but now, I'm going to continue blogging in a real decentralized one where freedom can be embraced by everyone.

Before I was introduced in the blockchain, I already enjoy writing stuff online. That time, I wanted to introduce the things that I love and enjoy doing and inspire people through them. Unfortunately though, I didn't have any audience... so I wondered if there was any use for it.

However, it changed. I found the perfect place for my creations to live... and that's here in HIVE.

WHAT ARE THESE THINGS THAT I ENJOY DOING?

ART is LIFE! I love drawing, painting and recently am practicing digital arts. It started as a frustration for me since I was surrounded by cousins who were really great at drawing... so I practiced every day... and now, it has become a part of my life.

Of course, there's still an enormous room for improvement so I'm taking little steps to get there someday. :)





Ever since I was a high school student, I have already embraced the world of poetry. I have written hundreds of them in three (maybe four) different languages. Poetry for me is a home for my unsaid emotions. I love expressing myself in such an artistic way. It's a very great outlet for me to tell the world my thoughts, be it good or bad. It provides me freedom and warmth in various ways.





Watching anime and reading manga keeps my sanity intact. Whenever I feel so stressed out in the real world, I often find peace in this awesome world. There are days when I just stay in this world and drown myself in it.

Some of my real life friends find me weird or strange for it, but they have accepted this part of me as well. Even my parents support me in this craziness. They, especially my mama, sometimes watch with me. It's really awesome how they try to understand and accept every part of you, including the eccentric ones.





I love taking pictures as well, that sometimes I take the pictures of the random-est thing there is. It's mostly mobile photography though since I don't have other means of taking pictures. I really want to go out again to take pictures, especially that of nature and wonderful landscapes.

OTHERS:

Aside from those that I've mentioned above, I am crazy about playing games. Recently, I'm playing Mobile Legends, an otome game and some sports and rhythm games on my phone.

There are a lot of things I enjoy, so it's sometimes difficult to choose what to do. lol

WHO IS SHEI?

I'm a daughter and a friend...

Welp, I'm an only child to these loving parents. They're not just mere parents to me, though. They're my great friends and I consider myself really lucky to be with them. I love them so much!




In addition, we have this cute little furball who never fails to brighten our day! ARASHI is the sweetest cinnamon roll in the planet!!!



My friends are considered part of my family. Even though I am an only child, my parents got a lot more children because of my friends. It's interesting how I make my parents my friends and my friends, my family. I value people so much, but actually, I tend to choose really few close ones.

Ohh! She's my sister! She's my best-est best friend slash sister in the whole world, and we're currently in a long distance friendship. We're on the opposite side of the world, but that doesn't stop us from being sisters.

I Work From Home!

I took up Nursing in University, but I have never used that profession. I was the one who chose it, but my parents never allowed me to work as a nurse because of my health condition. I am asthmatic. but I survived Nursing School!

Another reason why I didn't work as a nurse was that the salary is so low. That's the reason why I applied for a job as an ESL teacher. I worked in an office-based school for a year and in an English Academy for another year.

Because of these experiences, I was encouraged to take a special course in University related to education. In order to support myself for it, I quit the Academy and worked from home as an ESL tutor while financing my studies.

I got my teacher's license, but I realized that working from home suits a homebody like me pretty well. I have been working the same job for more than five years now, and I still enjoy it.

It's fulfilling to teach and impart my knowledge and experiences to others. My students also teach me a lot of things, so I learn new things every day.

Inspiring people has always been my goal. By doing simple things like writing, I know, I'll be able to reach that goal.

This is the reason why I am so thankful for being a part of this one of a kind community. I have found, not only audience and friends, but also family. I really hope to see the people who has traveled the blockchain journey with me in this brand new place of freedom.
