Hello people!
I hope everyone is doing well. :)
Today, I'm going to share a digital version of my original artwork a few years ago. A few years back, I and my batch mates from the high school I went to in the countryside had a reunion. Even though I didn't graduate with them, they still asked me to join because they consider me as part of the group.
I really enjoy spending time with them... and it's ironic how I joined the reunion despite not joining reunions in the high school I graduated from in the city. Hmmn... I do have some really close friends I get together with, though. :)
Anyway, here is the finished digital version of my original artwork.
Originally, I painted the design because that time I didn't have any tools for digital painting and I also didn't know how. lol My batch mates asked me to make the design, so I gladly did. Let me show you the original artwork below.
One of my former classmate's cousin owns a printing shop, so they tried to adjust the design and printed it on our shirts. Below are the shirt samples.
I think digital art is more suitable for T-shirt design compared to the traditionally painted one, right? Unless I painted the shirt one by one. haha I still enjoy wearing this shirt these days.
Anyway, I want to share the process of the digital art. So I hope you all enjoy it. :) As usual, I started with the line art, base color, shadow, texts and backgrounds. I had a hard time with the texts because I don't know to adjust them at first, but after several trial and error, I was able to do the adjustments. Let's go!
I took some time to finish this artwork. I actually finished it last night, but decided to post it today. :) Let me share a GIF version of the whole process. :)
And that's it for this post. I hope you enjoy it! See you again and keep safe always. (^^,)/
