What’s This Article About?

Well, this article is covering the art contest hosted by Splinterlands. Splinterlands happens to be one of the most engaging games on the Hive blockchain. While the game itself is fun, the team goes above and beyond and takes the fun to the next level by hosting these contests.

And trust me there are many more contests to keep you drooling all through. If you fancy participating, you can do so here.

But first, what is Splinterlands all about? Let’s find out before getting on with the art. 😊

What Game is Splinterlands?

Well, it is one of the earliest blockchain-based collectible games. Though I started playing the game quite late, on hindsight, I should have had got going early. Anyway, no need to despair, there is so many opportunities no matter when you start.

Splinterlands is a digital card game which allows you to collect, trade, battle, rent and even earn on the cards. It is one of the most generous games that I have seen where cards, potions, Dark Energy Crystals (DEC. Cryptocurrency) are given out every day to thousands of players for just playing and winning daily quests. And there are tournaments or guilds that you can join.

Just to give you an idea of few of the uber-expensive cards, take a look at this recent purchase of Prince Julian at USD 3500.

Did you go to the link and see for yourself? I hope you did. And I hope that gives an overview of the game. I just love the game, and those interested can go to Splinterlands’ site and join. If you want a link to join, I will leave one at the end of the article which you can use.

Scroll down, quick. 😊

Let’s get on with the Contest, then?

Well, today I am going to get another fun blog divider ready for the contest. This one is going to be colourful, unlike a few of my previous ones.

So, let’s go.

---------------------------------------------******---------------------------------------------------

Step 1: The Base Material

As I said, we will be looking at a colourful line divider which I could probably use for my Splinterlands related articles. So, here are the base materials which I would be using.

Line Divider

I don’t see how I could miss this fun line divider by Mahua Sarkar on Pixabay. I am going to use it to make the final blog divider for Splinterlands’ use.

Here is the base divider.

Colourful Dragon

For the second part, I am using another colourful picture, but in this case, a dragon. It does look fun, and here it is.

So, that gives us our base material.

Step 2: Bringing Things Together

So, continuing with the fun theme here is bringing the two base items together.

Hmm. Refreshing look, isn’t it? I guess, so. 😊

Step 3: Completing the Blog Divider

Most of the things look okay, barring the white spaces around the blog divider. Here, I am editing it out, and this is the final piece.

That’s about it for our blog divider. See you soon. 😊
