I made it back to KL from Bangkok with my 90 day tourist visa yesterday and have pretty much been in bed ever since. This trip took a lot out of me.
I'm really bloated with edema (HUGE!), still have fluid coming out of my legs. I'm healing from the fall I took.
I was treated to wheelchairs for a lot of the time in the airports, but still had to do a lot of walking.
The airports and planes were quite empty due to the flu scare going on. The KL immigration lobby usually has many hundreds of people waiting and this time there were less than 100 total and all lanes had only a couple of people if that.
About 60% of airline staff were masked up and maybe 30% of travelers.
I was also in the KL Sentral Station at rush hour and about 10% of people had masks. This place seemed to be as busy as ever.
I have so many messages from so many of you. I will get to them as soon as I can. Thank you for all of your encouragement and support. It means so much to me.
