My Alcohol Sprayer (Pencil Sketch practice)

in Sketchbook2 years ago

I enjoy painting landscapes or just freely play with colors using marker pens and whatnot. However, I also want to improve my pencil sketch. I think this is one of the basics that I need to do. I've been drawing for a long time and I see myself improving. It feels great, but I'm also aware that I still have a long way to go.

For my sketching practice, I decided to draw my alcohol sprayer! Well, it's an ordinary water sprayer but I decided to put my alcohol in it. haha

Well, I was looking for stuff inside my room to draw and I spotted this. It's a bit complicated because of its color. It was a bit difficult to see the details, but I was somehow able to make a decent sketch of it.

For this pencil sketch practice, I used my sketchpad, pencil and eraser, cotton buds and a correction pen. Let me show you some progress shots while I was sketching.

Do you see my anime hubby? hahaha

I used the cotton bud or swab for shading and the correction pen for the highlights. It would be nice to play with the light and shadow next time. Should I use my table lamp? It was fun, though. I'm not really into drawing inanimate objects, but it's good for practicing details like shading and highlighting.

I wonder what I'm going to draw next. I want to keep at it. Of course, I want to continue painting and also use my markers. I also miss making anime fan arts! There's something I want to draw, so I'll work on it soon!

I'm slowly finding my drive to enjoy doing things again... the past days were quite tough. XD Until next time!

Wow

@tegoshei Your art is amazing. Even with the color or lack of color on the alcohol spayer, you were still able to draw it and give it details. And your shading techniques superb👌

I draw anime too and I look forward to seeing the rest of your art

Thank you so much... I truly appreciate such comment! 🥰

Talent! Talent Talent!... My friend, why not share some drawing talents with poor Sam😄

This is really Beautiful!

Not entirely talent... just practice, practice, practice!! :)

Thank you!

True, both talent and practice. 😄

Right? hahaha.. we can't rely on talent alone... :)

Talent comes with practice after all.

I totally agree. Even the most talented artists or people in various fields need practice to enhance whatever raw talent they have. :)

😌 Yup!
