As a visual artist, I think I owe more people portraits than I can imagine from my friends, to family, to colleges and anyone else who knows I draw or even stumble upon me drawing. So this my friend is one of those I had promised to make a drawing of and I had to create a quick sketch of her today as a little gift for her birthday. This piece was created liwkn9 do with most of my recent portraits. The shading and highlighting were the most interesting aspects of this drawing. I created this piece using the scribble technique and shared the process below.
