Fragments of Rest

in Sketchbookyesterday

Good morning great Hivers of the Sketchbook community.
I bring to you my recent drawing and I hope you all like it.
This piece captures a raw moment of stillness - the body resting, almost sinking into its own silence. I wanted the pose to feel more vulnerable and strong, as if the figure was caught in between exhaustion and quiet resilience. The heavy shading emphasizes the weight of the limbs, while the facelessness leaves the figure universal, open for anyone to see themselves within. It's less about who the person is, and more about the story their posture tells.

Medium: 12B sketch pencil on a sketch pad.
