Today I created a portrait with loose, expressive pen strokes, focusing on one side of the face. The eye feels intense and alert while the slightly parted lips add a Sense of emotion. I intentionally allowed the rough lines and cross-hatching remain visible to give the drawing a raw and unfinished honesty.
