Nice story. Honesty is the best policy and it is great that Abigail was rewarded in this story. But it is important not to expect rewards as this can lead to disappointment. It is better just to do the right thing and be happy your good deed. Goodness is it's own reward and sooner or later you get back what you put out into the world.
I liked the way you added little comments in to your story. It allowed me to not only enjoy the story, but also your thoughts on what was happening. I can not wait to read your next story.
