When Officer Mike Shaw was young, he was a skateboarder.
He remembered he was treated with respect by past police officer and now he is doing the same.
We can see him giving out skateboards and chatting with skateboarders.
This definitely improves the image of a police officer as he creates friendships with skateboarders.
It is one way for him to get connected and helped these skateboarders when he can find the opportunity.

Yes. Most people may still distance away from Police as they are usually viewed as only law enforcer rather than peace maker. It is nice to have such inspiration story.
