The weekend just ended and I thought of writing the highlights of my weekend whenever I get the chance. Well, I'm usually at home, so it might be a bit boring, but I'll try to make my weekends worthwhile. :)
For starters, my Saturday was kind of a work day. I opened classes for a couple hours so I had to work in the afternoon. I had another special class at night but after that, I was free. It's my grandma's birthday on Sunday, so we called her and sent some money for her to use to celebrate her birthday with my uncles and cousins who live near her. We live in another island, so we can only call and greet her virtually.
My younger cousin sent us some pictures of the small celebration. If only we live near each other. This is the second birthday of my grandma that we couldn't go. Anyway, she looked so happy and healthy, so that's really great. Hopefully we could visit her soon.
Sunday for me was a lazy one. Of course, I had my daily exercise first before lazing around the rest of the day. haha
I was playing ML, but then wanted to play with my younger cousin, so I messaged him. Well, I only asked for one game since it was almost dinner time when I texted him and Sunday nights are usually anime night with my mama. <3
We won the game and promised to play together again next time. I haven't spent time with this little cousin of mine since the pandemic last year, so we usually just video chat, chat or play mobile games together. <3
Later that night, one of my Japanese friends sent me a LINE message and told me about another mobile game he's currently into and wanted me to try it.
I actually started playing last night, but I haven't sent him a message that I already tried the game. Perhaps next weekend? We might be able to play together. Anyway, the game's characters are actually cute and the gameplay is quite simple. It's fun! But I'm still in lower rank since I barely started last night. :)
I got a new brawler, so I'm currently using it. It's a colorful skull character! haha I will have to message him soon and give him my feedback on this cute game. :)
I spent the rest of my Sunday night watching anime with my mama. I'm rewatching Prince of Tennis with her and we're enjoying it so much. At one point, my Japanese bestie, Jintan, and I were exchanging messages and we got into a topic which is pretty nostalgic. :)
He mentioned "Haraheta Pirates" at the end. This is actually a pirate group we created for ourselves around six years ago. Haraheta means "I'm hungry", so we're the "hungry pirates". Well, pirates because we were always talking about One Piece during that time and I even created a ship and our own flag. It's just so fun to talk about it again after a long time.
Just being lazy on a weekend is one of my simple joys. I love spending my day with my family and friends just doing nothing... or just gaming and chatting with them is already a lot of fun. :) Let's see what happens next weekend.
