I have posted about Sam Ovens multiple times on blockchain. He is one of the biggest names in creating courses online. He literally owns the domain https://www.consulting.com and was bringing in $36 million dollars in revenue before he restructured his business operations.
He has gone through and experienced all the problems an online course creator would face. Then he has trained over 22,000 people and have the experience and information gathered through that. All of this lead to the creation of Skool where all the things you need is present and all the things you don't want to deal with are not present.
Public Group to Learn More About Skool
You can create your own account form there and host your own events, courses and community at Skool. It is created by online educators for online educators. You are going to be in good hands.
A Pleasant Surprise
I learned a lot from Sam Ovens' free content and he was the best in the business IMHO. There was a long radio silence from his public channels from what I could find. I was wondering if he had taken off on a break or working on some more high ticket sales (his cheapest product used to be $2,000). It seems I was more or less correct in my assessment.
From A Team of 45 to 6
According to Sam Ovens his business is now more profitable than it used to. Take your time to see the videos and you will see some truly impressive profit margins. The reason for this has a lot to do with getting rid of most of advertising. consulting.com was an 8 figure revenue generator with an 8 figure ad spend.
His Fan Page Shared Details Much Earlier
Sam Ovens ended his YouTube hiatus 5 days ago. The video down below was posted ~2 weeks before that. You could have caught some good deal on course prices if you had seen the video. The website it show and the current website are wildly different.
The Changes Were Already Happening 1.5 Years Ago
This video was posted on the fan channel a while after Sam Ovens stopped being aggressive with all out sales and focus on increasing revenue. It does describe part of his journey and what he has been doing with his two businesses (Consulting and Skool).
@spknetwork May Have A Chance
Sam Ovens and many of hi community is increasingly betting on YouTube. I don't think Sam will be that much interested in going straight after a new social media platform. What I know is that many content creators are betting big on YouTube for evergreen content that give them sales even after years from the publishing date. https://spk.network is a better version of YouTube and I believe the community here can have may interested parties who could be interested in utilizing the blockchain in order to get more exposure from cryptocurrency investors.
It won't hurt to try and increase these numbers. We are on a growth trajectory and I do see the numbers are going up. But you must keep in mind that our competition is this:
Happy Learning!
