You even earn regular Ecency Points for simply being online. Just keep a tab opened on your browser. Comments are the easiest way to acquire more points i my experience.

That is great to hear. I suggest you try "Promote" feature if you write more long form articles that could attract more followers. Using the feature has brought me almost too much engagement.
