Today I was getting ready to the launch of Land 1.5 when I came across the summary of Town Square which mentioned the delay of two more weeks to see Praetoria in action. Maverick's Server already have a functioning version of the game. I just don't want to spend time on a test server. Therefore I am going to have to wait to another two weeks to experience the true greatness of one of the best launches in blockchain gaming.
For those wondering and don't have discord. Land has been delayed until Nov. 28th. Reason: US Holiday (Thanksgiving) in which some team members might not be around to help with any potential unseen hiccups introducing Land 1.5 might bring.
Claimed My Last Deed
My goal was to spread around my Plots to make sure I have enough variety for all kinds of use cases. I know that I will not be able to utilize all of these. There is no ability to Rent my Plots to other players either. Most of my Plots will remain unused for a long time.
I believe in hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. I had 51 Natural Plots and 44 Common Plots (there is a large overlap between the two) and all I got was another Natural Common Plot that is a Dessert. This is a typical result for a Survey.
I have the lowest priority given for Common and Rare Natural Plots. These make up 48 out of 57 of my Plots. There will be a long time before I start taking a look at this Plot for gameplay utility.
Buying DEC for Land Use
In a way I find the delay to be somewhat convenient. It gives me more time to accumulate DEC. More time has a trend of providing me with situations where I have to spend my cryptocurrency on various things. I am happy to have the damn thing started already.
DEC price itself has remained close to $0.001 soft peg for the last month. There is very little upside for DEC itself. I am adding some buy orders with my $HIVE as I expect to take some profits while $HIVE is finally starting to have a good time in terms of price.
This was only one of my orders. I have continued to add more orders on HIVE-Engine. Conditions are getting better for blockchain gaming and this is one niche in cryptosphere that has a good chance of becoming decoupled from $BTC and $ETH price.

Alex Becker has done many things as an entrepreneur. He sold his company Hyros for $100 million dollars last year and he is currently an entrepreneur working on NeoTokyo hanging around with many builders in blockchain gaming and NFTs. Alex Becker was not even that interested in cryptocurrency trading back in the day. Alex has a good track record of trading after he finally invested heavily into cryptocurrency.
Alex Becker is an advisor to some of the projects he mentioned in the video. He does not even mention his best picks and wants to share his thought process. Once you strip away the comic character he plays online for fun, there are many things to learn form the guy.
No More Staking Rewards for GLX
I have not seen a significant difference in staked amounts after the end of Staking Rewards. This makes me thing that most of the weak hands and those looking to sell have already sold out. There are likely many investors and traders who are looking to lock in some profits if the markets play out favorably in the next few weeks. I do think that we are officially in the bull market territory. We are likely to see more upside for the projects with new updates to show.
I do plan of playing some Matches to earn some Tokens and if possible, NFTs in Genesis League Goals. I expect there to be a lower competition at the beginning. I could easily switch back to Rentals if I don't end up liking the game enough to dedicate it enough time to get good at the game.
The Worst Times Are Over
Take a look at the fundamentals. Do some technical analysis on the markets. I don't think everything is going to be amazing since next week. What I'm seeing is an overall trend of improvement and we will definitely have a good time throughout most of 2024 and 2025 if we stay prepared.
