Microsoft's News Operating System Launched Today | Androids Apps Now Coming to Windows 11

We already knew what to expect except for the stock prices. The (possibly planned) leaks already showed what we were likely to get. Windows 11 looks more like a UI/UX overhaul of Windows 10 more than anything. Since it looks different and good for marketing, Mincrosoft is calling it Windows 11. In my eyes it is still more of an update.

There could be changes under the hood. Maybe those changes will happen over time with more updates. So far these are the most basic things you need know (summarized):

MSFT vs AAPL

  • AAPL does have a better PE Ratio
  • Marketcaps are very close to each other
  • If the trend continues, MSFT may become the most valuable company in the world

It is a little strange to see such low volatility in prices even around such major news, after seeing the powerful and massive price swings that are an inherent part of cryptosphere.

A Lesson for DAPPs

Everyone in the technology space is going for a very sleek "Modern" look. We cannot be looking like some archaic thing from past. UI/IX is how customer interacts with the software you have built. Having focused on competing front ends is a must for the future IMO.

If its in anyway, and I am going to be VERY strict, less useful than windows 10, or has a worse Key logger.... I will permanently switch to Linux across all devices in my home and ad block everything.

Right now I haven't ad blocked at my router, but if these tech giants become anymore of a joke, I'll be blocking 100% of their revenue streams, using LBRY and Theta forever. Twitch can burn with them too for how pathetic their hot tub drama is.

It's like a bunch of people with the maturity of a 10 year old get the most of a new operating system, with memes and the whole lot...

The good thing is Linux is actually getting better and now doing some things much better than Windows. This "Upgrade" seemed like trying too hard. I don't dislike everything. But things do give hints of future trends that may not be very good. Considering that all of these technology companies have to play ball with USSA government, privacy of the users are going to be heavily violated.

To make the matters worse, there exists the drift toward free/cheap with ads. We are already seeing some very unhealthy trends with mid-range and budget smartphones coming from Chinese brands.

Just wait for the GPUs and ASICS that have fees for the Intellectual Property owner... not just some software dev... 14% later and Ethreum isn't profitable for any other than huge companies.

Not really planning on upgrading. I'm sure I'm not the only one. At least there are some cool features. Android apps are the biggest reveal for me.
