I Make More Money On BLURT Than My HIVE and STEEM Earnings Combined | I Only Have 7 Followers

I started getting serious with BLURT blockchain 17 days by posting one of my best written articles there. You can read it here. It was massive successes and I made some serious gains for an account with mere 5 followers. Take a small glimpse and keep in mind that I got some big votes on some of my other comments as well:

I had everything to brag about and post how great things are going etc. But i knew that it could very well be temporary and the steam could die off a little. So I allowed things to flatten and get normalized.

As expected the changes came and I was earning much less crypto per day. It has been 10 days after I started getting paid for my content. I consider this a good enough moment to do a fair comparison of my earnings.

What Do These Numbers Mean In USD

If I take @coingecko price of $0.125/HIVE and tread 1 HBD as $1
If I take @coingecko price of $0.15/HIVE and tread 1 SBD as $1
If I take HIVE-Engine price of $0.022/BLURT
I have made $2.60 on HIVE
I have made $14.48 on STEEM
I have made $26.80 on BLURT

Thou Shalt Not Underestimate BLURT

I still only have 7 followers on BLURT. But I have engagement levels that are not much lower than what I get on HIVE with 2071 Followers. For a new content creator or even a old one that didn't get much traction on HIVE or STEEM, I can recommend BLURT with flying colors. You are welcome to check my blog to find some good content and author's I reblurt on my blog.

Postscriptum on Other Tokens

The DAPPs that get built o top of these chains can produce even greater results than what these chains themselves can offer you in terms of ROI. Two my best examples are my account on @leofinance and what I have made on @steemhunt through the simple act of being engaged with the project for a long time.

Went ahead and signed up, just made my intro post with my Review Guidelines.

The only older articles I plan to upload are my One Piece and Disney Reviews, since those partially assume you've been following along since the beginning. Other than that I'll likely start uploading all my articles there a short time after I post them here on Hive.

If it goes well I'll keep it up.

It was almost a bizarre experience when I started looking at the numbers. I had the most interactions and spend most of my time on HIVE. Yet it is also the place I get rewarded the least.

I have also faced multiple occasions where I spend hours authoring a post only to get merely few cents and a Buzz I post on @dbuzz end up getting several times the rewards. HIVE is almost like a place working under some dream logic at times.

They have come a long way from the initial release. One big pain point is that they have transaction fees. Keep few BLURT around without powering up. You may even have to power down a tiny portion of your BP just to be safe. The fees are still very small.

HIVE is the platform that I'm most engaged with mainly thanks to all the DAPPs and games. I have accounts on other two chains and use them because why not. I post more content on HIVE than any other platform and I have the most engagement here. When I look at the statistics, somehow I'm earning more on other 2 platforms.

I didn't actually expect my STEEM earnings to be higher than HIVE. BLURT I can understand because of having less competition for the reward pool. Even if I add my token earnings, I'm still making several times more by cross posting. It's honestly a weird and bizarre experience.

Start by picking some of your best articles and try posting them and interacting with few of the members. I have had some great interactions with the witnesses there.

You could make more money on blurt but if you like creating content and an actual community, you will find blurt to be a tad bit too boring to bear.

That is mainly because there aren't many users there. I have had many good interactions there. If the DAU keep increasing with the bull market and content get more diversified, things will get less boring.

This is probably because you've been upvoted by the guy behind Blurt ( Jacob G. ) as well as because there's hardly any active users on Blurt and they encourage people who make use of the platform, hoping that they will stay.

I am investing in Blurt ( hoping / expecting that it will pump after acceptance on exchanges ) and only posted there once so far. I also got one or two big votes on that single post but I'm not sure if that's enough for me to stay active on there.

Time will tell.
