It depends on your goals. I like the fifty/fifty split because I invest in other tokens and projects with that money. If you want to increase your HP as quickly as possible putting all earnings into it makes more sense. I'm doing a bit of a balancing act to grow my second layer tokens in addition to HP. It makes sense in my mind to hold tokens that offer curations and Hive dividends. But that's just me!
