Taking a look at the photo, I am surprised there is actually a person working the cash register.....Chinese stores are going employee-less, using facial recognition and the electronic pay card to run the whole store.

        Yeah, that’s a good point. But this isn’t a corporate store like HeMa. This is a small dingy family operation that T-Mall has helped to spruce up. Ma n Ba probably want to keep at least some control over stuff!
