Splinterlands is Crypto collectible card game ,(Nice thing you own your game assets.) in which monster of each team attack each other
and win the matches and offcourse some precious DEC (crypto currency) for you.
So how it is possible than "No Attack" monster is winning battle for you? It is overall a attacking game.
If you wodering about this question then let me help you that splinterland is a pure "strategy" game too. Having best in class card will not help you if you did not place them strategically. Game "rule set",available summoners(monsters) and mana limits always challenge you to keep finding the best combinations and position before finalizing the battle. Yes monster positioning also play a crucial role too in winning the matches.
With the Untamed cards, there are plenty of option for no attack monster like the Albatross, the Failed Summoner, Warrior of Peace, Truth Speaker, Shadowy Presence, The Gelantious Cube are added with already existing Lord Arianthus,Angel of Light and Peaceful Giant.
So my today post will highlight the battle where I used 2 no attack monster (Lord Arianthus and Warrior of Peace) and win the battle due to them.
Let start with battle ruleset
My Team in Order
Tyrus Paladium(summoner) ,Lord Arianthus,Warrior of Peace,Divine Healer,Silvershield Assassin,Air Elemental and Sacred Unicorn.
Opponent Team in Order
Tyrus Paladium(summoner) ,Sacred Unicorn,Dwarven Wizard,Silvershield Assassin,Divine Sorceres and Silvershield paladin.
Let Start with team introduction.
I choose Tyrus Paladium because of it ability of giving 1 armor to friendly monster, It really make impact on ruleset like "Earthquake".
My tank monster,In reality Lord Arianthus is most offensive no attack monster because of it's ability like thorns and magic reflect. Void and Shield make really hard to take down this tank.
Warrior of Peace,my second no attack monster, it has nice health and demoralize ability.Good health is a key in "Earthquake" ruleset.
Divine Healer for my tank Lord Arianthus making it tough for opponent to take down my tank Lord Aianthus.
Silvershield Assassin,a double striker to wipe out the opponent tail.
Air Elemental's high swiftness ensures that it is going to be the first to charge at enemy tank with nice attack.
Sacred Unicorn has healing ability that I think is quite handy in "Earthquake ruleset" and giving the formidable defence to tail.
Now it's battle time
This is how my team look like after all the summoner's and monster abilities applied.
Look like tank and tail monster's at both side are able to hold the ground in round 1, let's see in next image how they fared in round 2.
All armor is consumed and "Earthquake" is going to strike the health of every monster. Enemy sacred unicorn looks dead because it will lose 2 health to Earthquake and 3 attack of Air Elemental (do rarely miss).Divine Sorcerer will definitely killed in Earthquake.
All clear now, I am getting a nice victory against a opponent that has higher level of cards and summoner.
