Either you renew yourself or you become obsolete

in LeoFinance2 years ago (edited)

A couple of days ago I bought a new cell phone because my old cell phone was relegated by the technology of telephone lines in my country. To be more exact, I had a smartphone from a Chinese brand (whose name I will not say) that stopped being useful to me a week ago (more or less), because the company of the telephone line that I use, changed to 4G LTE technology; completely eliminating the use of 2G and 3G networks and thus turning my old cellular device into little more than a cute paperweight.

I needed to renew or resign

So I had to make an effort to renew myself at a technological level; because that was it, or give up the benefits of having a telephone that would help me communicate (and for everything that a telephone is really used for today) and that is unthinkable.

The truth is that although I am a fan of technology (I am a student of everything that is currently in vogue), I am not very given to changing technology frequently because I always get the most out of it (I take advantage from the maximum potential), all the equipment and technological devices that I buy, but the circumstances forced me to do so.

Because as I told you, my old cell phone (my previous cell phone) totally lost coverage or signal due to the situation I explained at the beginning of the post; and therefore, I couldn't even make calls or send SMS, which is the most basic of the basics that can be done with any cell phone today.

Of course, it is also true that I had already had my old cell phone for 5 years, so in any case I had to start thinking about changing it for a newer and better device. So I switched to a Samsung device. To be more precise, I bought the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, which was launched by the Samsung company in April 2022 (that is, 3 months ago); and I can say that I am impressed by the high quality of the equipment.

I think the cost of the smartphone I bought is excellent (it cost me $350), which actually seems like a great price for a mid-range device that has so many (and such excellent) features in all the senses.

Because although a few years ago I had cell phones from the Samsung Galaxy series, and therefore I know very well that they are excellent by nature; still the levels to which Samsung smartphones have reached today, do not cease to impress me; because every time they make them better in every way.

By the way, thanks to this purchase, I was able to solve my telephone coverage problem, because now I have a 4G signal, which is exceptionally good, and I am also ready for when my telephone operator enables the 5G network in my country. But not only that, I am very impressed with all the features of this equipment that I just bought.

Of course, it is also normal that as cell phone technology advances, Samsung, which has always been one of the brands at the forefront of the smartphone market, makes better and better equipment.

A bit about my user experience

Well, the user experience that I have had with this equipment that I just bought is simply magnificent in every way. The model I bought belongs to the mid-range, so it is supposed to have a level that is halfway between the low range and the high range; but beyond that, the wonderful thing is that it gives much more than is expected from a team of its range. Specifically for those who are not aware of this, in this 2022 Samsung has included many features of its high-end phones in its mid-range smartphones, and this A33 5G is the proof of this.

Although I do not intend to delve too deeply into this section,, I will tell you that some of the most notable features that I have found in this Samsung A33 5G are that it has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels; and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. In addition, it has an 8-core Octacore processor, and also has 128 GB of internal storage and 6 GB of RAM (both expandable). Bring 5000 Mph Battery (non-removable); and as an operating system it uses Android 12 (the most recent Android on the market). It is also worth mentioning that this smartphone is IP67 certified and quite light in weight (it weighs only 186 grams).

This phone also has four cameras (of which three are the rear cameras and the remaining one is the front camera for selfies). The rear cameras are: A 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP angular camera and a 5 MP Macro camera. For its part, the front camera has 13 MP. The truth is that from what I have been able to verify, the quality of the photos and videos that this phone makes is exceptional, as Samsung has always accustomed us with all its models.

As for the performance of the entire equipment at the level of applications, connectivity and everything else, I take my hat off, because Samsung has completely stood out with this device that will surely be a best seller worldwide, since in addition to all the features that I have mentioned (and many more features that I have not mentioned, but that are also important), this equipment will have automatic Software updates for 4 years and 1 year of security patches in addition to that. This means that the device will automatically update to Android 13, 14, 15 and 16 as they are released.

Either you renew yourself or you become obsolete

As I like to reflect on everything that happens to me in life, I think that this situation that happened to me forced me to change for the better, because otherwise I would become obsolete.

Due the truth is that I always need my phone enabled for so many things (both personal and work), that it was not an option for me to stay even one more second without a phone that would allow me to function adequately in everything I do.

So innovation and changes force us to change for the better in everything in life, and technology is the best example of this. Because no matter how much we resist change, changes will always come in any form from one moment to another, so if instead of resisting change, we adapt to the new times, we will always have a better experience and remain current.

As I mentioned before, I should have upgraded a long time ago by buying a new and better cell phone, but I couldn't make up my mind because my old smartphone was minimally functional for me in terms of work. But what finally made me decide to buy a new smartphone with a better brand, quality, range and features, was what happened to the 2G and 3G networks on the phone line I use; and in the end it was the best thing that could happen to me, due now I have a mobile device that really supports me and allows me to do even tasks that were impossible for me with my old phone (such as using certain applications for work and play, etc.).

So again I tell you, I am very happy with the purchase of my new Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. I hope that you will also have the opportunity to buy it and try it soon for yourselves, so that you can check all its potentialities and characteristics (which are many and all excellent).

Dear @piensocrates, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago when the HBD stabilizer proposal rose above it.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work?
