Building out the eco-system. Connecting communities.

Hive is growing organically.

Sometimes it can be hard to see the path right in front of you. For the past year since the inception of the hive blockchain we have seen it being stabilized and restored.

Slow, steady and unexciting work but the basis of what is to come over the next few years.

When you are in the queue it can be hard to see the line moving along as you are still looking at the same people in front and behind. From that perspective you are looking at the same view, all of the time and don't realize that every shuffle forward is bringing you to the front as others make the move in or leave the queue altogether.

If you are looking from the outside however it would be a different view. You could see exactly how far up the line that the person was and how many are waiting behind to try and get ahead of them.

Hive over the past year has been boring. That is a good thing. No real drama, whale wars, takeovers, bugs, issues and other things that hold up progress and growth.

Instead it has been developing.

War and conflict are the detriment of growth as they take up necessary resources that could be put to better use like time, money and energy.

Over the past couple of months we are seeing big statements from several projects based on Hive.

Hive blockchain:
We witnessed a minor miracle just the past week. A smooth hardfork. One that ran properly and didn't out the whole eco-system. First one that I can remember. Bar one slight glitch it was the best one that I can remember over the past 4 years.

Leofinance:
New interface, cubdefi going from strength to strength. Linking into cardano. Kingdoms taking off nicely. It's safe to say that development is going rapidly in the right direction over there.

Splinterlands:
New ath in card value, card sales, player numbers, games played. They are just powering forward as we wait for the SPS governance token to drop and look forward to land and crafting.

3speak.online:
Big ambitions from their recent whitepaper and if it all goes to the plan they will be a big part of web3 over the next few years to come. Tokenized communities and decentralized video.

Somee:
These are an old idea being reinvented on hive. Decentralized and rewarding social media. They are going to release a new token on hive and will launch a huge marketing push behind it using influential marketers and industry connections.

Axie Infinity:
We all know that this is the hottest game in town right now and luckily some smart hive user has made a push to jump in on the action. My twitter feed has been jumping with people shilling the new axie community on hive. Linking the game to our media in what could be a very smart move.

All of the rest.
Lately I have seen multiple new games about to drop.
Multiple communities about to launch.
God only knows what else is brewing in the background and that is before we even read into what blocktrades is working on for the next hardfork.
This is what progress looks like.

Connections matter

Every one of these projects are moving into new areas, making more connections, expanding the hive brand and creating more layers of value for the next wave of people to build on.

Stability is good for business and this is only the early days of hive.

This is huge progress in a short space of time and while it can be hard to see the long game, we are moving forward.

Step by step, we are moving into new and exciting spaces which will hit home some day to the rest of the space. all of these projects are growing organically. This is without any real marketing other than what the communities are willing to do themselves and we are getting results.

Imagine when that effort is ramped up properly and people see what we have sitting right here in plain view.

It's going to be fun and i'm glad to be here early enough to see it.

In the instant gratification world, we see a lot of people upset that things arent happening instantly.

However, as you pointed out, we are seeing massive progress on many levels, even if they aren't exactly exciting. However, exponential progress is often slow before the explosion.

I am looking forward to where these communities will be in a few years. It looks like they are starting to spread at least a little bit of everything.

Has there been any updates about Somee?
