The acceleration of the rise of prices, specially the energy prices, has started to be felt in the United States. However, not all people are affected in the same way. Some are affected more than others.

According to a survey, reported in this article, 73% of people earning less than US$ 40000 a year have felt the impact of inflation, 28% said the impact was severe. Of the people earning more than US$ 100000, only 33% stated that inflation has affected them.

This survey clearly shows what it is already known. If the prices of needed items such as food and energy increase, the people with less disposable income are going to suffer more. They usually live on a day to day basis and any increase in price will force them to purchase less quality products or less products in general.
