I think, it's a slow learning process from passive consumerism to active participation.
Starting point, for me, is to realise that every contribution is valueable.
One is used to awedly leave the playing field to experts only, because really "to whome should my opinion be worthwhile..."
But wisdom of the crowd rises from numerous layman contributions, that add up to a bigger picture.
