I find when i open hive.Blog or any of the frontends its not healthy to be confronted with the top paying posts. It's a distraction. Better to look at your friends feeds or individual communities. Much healthier!
I do like the rewards. We all do but you're right.
The posts that i spend the most time reading are either form the dapps or from the people who i have gotten to know over the years here.
You develop an interest in what they are doing and while you might not know them personally. You can still feel part of that life form the community here.
