RE: Investment Analysis on The Planet I Bought In @nextcolony 20 Days Ago + Competitors on Ethereum + Helpful Tips for Casual Players That are Serious Investors

in LeoFinance4 years ago

I would be interested in getting more exposure to this game for the fund...but I am not quite sure how. For now DACH token has paid very nice dividends.

Sort:

I haven't gotten into DACH Token. There are just too many investments around. So far I'm just focusing on finding as many planets as possible and maxing out my Meta Skill level. 1K DAU isn't a large number at all. The plan is to be an Orca when the game does take off.

Active exploration brings few Stardust and Blueprints. If you have some rare Blueprints and build ships to sell, that could become the best money maker and I do see a real potential in this. But as you said, there really isn't an easy way to get exposure. At least with @steemmonsters you can rent cards or rent accounts to players and split rewards.

For example, say the Fund wanted to invest 200 steem or more in some planets, and hire you to run them. 'Delegate Planet' would be elegant there....it is my understanding that if the planets were on a new account they would not benefit from your high investment in player level skills, is that right?

Buying planets would be the most efficient thing to do with an investment of that size. There is no delegate feature in @nextcolony as far as I know.

if the planets were on a new account they would not benefit from your high investment in player level skills

You will loose the buffs. But if the planet had the buildings already made, they will produce at their base rates for their building level. If you want to seriously invest into the game, keeping an eye on https://shop.buildteam.io/product/nextcolony-autopilot-3-month-subscription for the future could be great.

If You Do Start A New Account, Focus On:

  • Base
  • Coal/Ore/Copper/Uranium Mines
  • Coal/Ore/Copper/Uranium Depots
  • Shipyard (Level 14 will be mostly sufficient)
  • Explorer
  • Mission Control
  • Coal/Ore/Copper/Uranium Production Increase

These will be the most important meta-skills. You can buy a lot of planets for a decent price at https://nextcolony.io/market and make sure to check resource production of the planet:

The above planet (https://nextcolony.io/planet/P-ZSWMDAC7JCG) is only 19,000 Stardust at the moment. It's well worth the extra cost over burn value. If you do invest 200 STEEM 100% into buying planets, upgrading the meta skills won't be much of an issue.

Happy Investing!

Welcome to the fund! Please do not forget to use the #upfundme general posting tag!

Thanks a lot :-)
I will be using #upfundme from now.

Excellent! I think you will find new energy in the tribe, with a general focus including 'upfunding our goals' as well as steem-services. :)

I made a post all about our conversation, I hope you don't mind, I am quite interested in the idea of letting buildteam automate the planets, and then hiring a strategist for all the battle portions.

Do you know if there is a maximum on the number of planets allowed in a single account?

Thank you for this great information! By the way here is a little write up I did about DACH inspired by your post. (literally I checked the market because you reminded me of it, and picked up some cheap DACH!)
