Steemit Integrates Tron: Now You Can Earn TRX Along With SP From Posting

This was some surprising news. Justin Sun actually did something nice for Steem out of his greed. TRX is now paid out for each SP earned. You can even create a tron account for yourself and get your private keys downloaded. Your earnings will now be

In February 2020, Steemit and the Tron Foundation entered into a strategic partnership. As a result of that partnership we are delighted to announce the integration of the TRON token, TRX, into the Steem ecosystem, which will be live in a few hours!Users will now be able to earn additional TRX rewards alongside Steem Power when posting content on the Steem blockchain.

Stake & Earn 8% APY

There will be tons of new Tron accounts created and this will be used to show more decentralizations despite these accounts not having much "Tron Power". At least you can earn rewards for keeping them staked.

I just saw this update myself as I went to check on some final powering down. I want nothing to do with Sun, Steemit, or TRON at this point, regardless of profit potential. Hive is where it'll be at for me.

I don't mind cross posting. My heart will be with Hive as long as it's the best social media/game ecosystem :)

PS: "CREATE TRON ACCOUNT" feature isn't working for me. Probably there's too much load there.

I'll put no energy into an ecosystem that censors people and where no one's holdings are safe. I have no faith in Sun and no faith in the new Witnesses.

New witnesses?
Most of them look like puppet accounts. Even @steemhunt had disabled their witness. There's barely few community witnesses on Top 20.

Precisely. I switched to HIVE because the people making this system were the ones who really kept STEEM running before. I don't want to be in Sun's private kingdom.

There have been some serious issues with Justin Sun. There are serious allegations and I really hope Justice will be done. At least in USA he'll have to answer to law.

There's a shady history with what he does. But there's a chance to earn some extra crypto and sell it for Hive/LEO/DEC or any other coin you believe in.

I think its a great move for Steem, but right now I'm trying to create a Tron wallet through the Steemit front-end and it doesn't seem to be working for me. Generally speaking, the idea behind it is pretty cool, but we'll see if it works for me. I'm not against Tron or Justin Sun so you can see me on Hive and Steem. Support your favorite projects, I support WEED and LEO. :D

People will at least see people posting about Hive and Splinterlands. It doesn't take much work to realize there are 2 forks of Steem and they'll see we've got more Dapps and bigger active community that's doing more than just blogging :)
