Do you have a Steem account? Before fork there was only Steem. Before I joined Steem there was a Russian fork: Golos. Don’t know if it copied user data or not. I didn’t look into that. Fork of Hive & Blurt I experienced personally. I saw all the drama and hacks and people having their funds taken away by Justin Sun. Everything is so much calmer right now. It’s been ages since I last saw flag wars.
I Don’t Usually Check My Steem Wallet
Found out some extra Steem there. I've been cross posting to all the forks. It's little work. I get more readers. I generate more backlinks. I earn some tiny chunks of crypto.
Not sure how much backlinks affect search ranking though. I hear it's not as important as it used to be, Google keep their biased algorithms mostly secret. Same with all big search providers. I use Brave BTW 😊
Easy Bridge To Hive L2
I don't evern knowwhat happened to Steem-Engine. It became a dead project after community migrated away. New owner seems to be fine with just TRX smart contracts & tokens. It's their stupid loss ☠️
Low Trade Volume - Steady Price
There isn't enough love given to Hive DeFi. Volumes are low. TVL is low. I feel we could do way better if there were more active user. Guess what! LEO team is doing exactly that with their marketing plan ti 2X Hive users.
1 thing to keep in mind is delays for bride. Hive Tx are done in few seconds. Don't have much with other networks. But Steem sure take few minutes to show up on DEX.
Not Many Use The Bridge
Doesn't make sense to constantly check for new deposit/withdraw Tx when there's only few happen each day. Just don't rely on Bridge to work in a hurry. Plan your trades! Mine took 15+ minutes to finalize⏰
Hive did really well along with HiveFest. I've never been to any of these. I'm more of an indoors guy - so I'm not feeling like I lost something. I'm just excited for more Dapps and a bright future.
