What a storm in the crypto markets in the last trading hours. It seems like the fully automated trading programs were set to sell at the same time, at least my favorites list was deep red yesterday.
When the money leaves the table in a panic, this is what it looks like.
I bet a lot of small private traders and investors bought into the dip again. We have seen this in the stock market lately, while the institutional traders left, it was the retail investors who held out their hand.
The question is who is right, because buy the dip has worked so far long. Important lows have not yet been broken here, at least not in Bitcoin, but that represents the overall market pretty well. The opportunity for a new rally is therefore given and good opportunities are sought. However, if we see continued weakness and a break of the uptrend, the suffering could continue.
What are the PGs saying about this sudden sell-off?
One way to judge the markets is to watch the momentum. The sell-off here was very dynamic but that was to be expected as many hedges were triggered here. A new 12H PG was formed at 56577$ and as always before the storm. The breakout was very dynamic and has brought in a short time around 16000$ on the downside.
Was that now or is there still something to come?
The question may be answered by the current and newly formed 6H PG. This could, as so often, add fuel to the fire or form a good entry point for a buy position. The market will already show where it goes and whether the low at around 40000$ holds.

Was für ein Sturm an den Kryptomärkten in den letzten Handelsstunden. Es scheint als wurden die vollautomatischen Handelsprogramme gleichzeitig auf Verkauf gestellt, meine Favoritenliste war zumindestens tief rot am gestrigen Tag.
Wenn das Geld panikartig den Spieltisch verlässt, dann sieht das nunmal so aus.
Ich wette es haben sich wieder viele kleine private Händler und Investoren in den Dip eingekauft. Am Aktienmarkt war dies ja auch in der letzten Zeit zu beobachten, während sich die institutionellen Händler verabschiedeten, waren es die Retail Investoren die ihre Hand aufgehalten haben.
Die Frage ist ja wer behält recht, denn kauf den Dip hat bis jetzt ja lange funktioniert. Wichtige Tiefstände sind hier noch nicht gebrochen, zumindest im Bitcoin nicht aber der representiert ja ziemlich gut den Gesamtmarkt. Die Chance für eine neue Rally ist also gegeben und gute Chancen werden gesucht. Sehen wir allerdings weiterhin Schwäche und einen Bruch des Aufwärtstrends, so könnte das Leiden weitergehen.
Was sagen die PGs zu diesem plötzlichen Abverkauf?
Eine Art die Märkte zu beurteilen ist es die Dynamik zu beobachten. Der Abverkauf war hier sehr dynamisch aber das war ja erwartbar gewesen,denn viele Absicherungen wurden hier getriggert. Eine neue 12H PG wurde bei 56577$ gebildet und das wie immer vor dem Sturm. Der Ausbruch war sehr dynamisch und hat in kurzer Zeit rund 16000$ auf der Unterseite eingespielt.
Wars das jetzt oder kommt da noch was?
Die Frage ist vielleicht durch die aktuelle und neu gebildete 6H PG zu beantworten. Diese könnte wie so oft das Feuer verstärken oder einen guten Einstieg für eine Kaufposition bilden. Der Markt wird schon zeigen wohin es geht und ob das Tief bei rund 40000$ hält.
Die ersten Rücklaufe wurden aber jetzt erreicht, die beiden PGs haben auch eine gute Performance abgeliefert. Eine 12H PG macht jetzt schon 26000$ Ausbrüche, was will man mehr als Ausbruch Händler. Die Zeiten werden immer volatiler aber das ist ganz normal je mehr Höhenluft man schnuppert.
