Wow. What a title. Lol.
Ya I get erked now and then.
The IMF warns cryptocurrency is not suitable as legal tender.
I wonder how that makes El Salvador feel and other countries thinking about doing it?
To quote from the article:
"The authors, Tobias Adrian, the IMF’s financial counselor and director of the monetary and capital markets department, and Rhoda Weeks-Brown, the IMF’s general counsel, acknowledged that using cryptocurrency has upsides."
But they the jump right into the negative.
“Cryptoassets can be used to launder ill-gotten money, fund terrorism, and evade taxes. This could pose risks to a country’s financial system, fiscal balance, and relationships with foreign countries and correspondent banks,”
No shit Sherlock.
Tell me FIAT is not laundered. And taxes are not evaded.
Relationships with correspondent banks.
Of course the current people in charge of today financial systems are afraid. Their world is slowly crumbling.
Why don't they just get with the times and accept what is coming?
People don't like change and the 1 percent want to stay the 1 percent. That is my belief anyway. They don't want everyone to have the chance to be equal.
I cannot wait for crypto to change the world. It is coming.
The article I referenced today did not even cause bitcoin and the crypto markets to even flinch one tiny little bit.
Fantastic.
