The Metaverse Is Being Born
With all the hype around a lame project in my opinion by Facebook to rename themselves meta clearly shows they are a dying company trying to regain some footing. What you have to realize is the Metaverse is already being made and it doesn't include Facebook AT ALL so trash that company and look at what's already here!
What Is The Metaverse
Like with anything everyone has their own versions of what the metaverse really is. So here's my version of what I feel the metaverse is. In short a blend of our world into digital where everything is done on blockchains and not so much just on the computer. I believe having everything on some type of blockchain is the key fundamental to the real metaverse.
This includes Social media, gaming, banking and all other aspects of our lives blended into blockchain.
Currently In The Metaverse
The metaverse is already here in many aspects. Below is a breakdown of the blend and after how we will be most likely advancing into the next stages.
NFTs - These have opened up an entire new world for art, artists, musicians and the likes. Allowing for a new way to create content and sell it. These digital artworks can be displayed in some games and even uses in some games via staking or simply a display options.
Gaming - Gaming has evolved a great deal since NFTs where released. While they where a thing 3-5 years ago they where limited in their nature and never really caught on. It wasn't until the last about 6-9 months that we saw an explosion and with it many new innovations of gaming and a bled of those games with others. Now you can walk around in a real metaverse loaded with NFTs artworks, your own house, connect with others all in a digital landscape. While these are just starting there are actually alpha and beta versions that should be released in 2022 that are just going to blow the socks off of the gaming industry.
The Future Metaverse
While all of this currently looks great there is also a massive change that's about to take foot early next year. These are total huge games which will have NFTs, resources, tokens all on the blockchain. It will be a truly totally world people can interreact with with real ownership and real economies all back by the blockchain.
While many of these projects are currently in Alpha and Beta they are showing a great deal of promise.

This Metaverse Will Come From You Not A Company
One of the coolest things ever about the metaverse is it's going to become a fully decentralized system on the blockchain and companies like Facebook will not be the leaders in it. They may try to be but other DOAs etc will be fueled by an entire revolution that will bring in a new innovation and spread power throughout the community.
I FIRMLY believe Facebook doesn't have a clue in this and instead thinks their so called "metaverse" is a highly regulated, data hungry oculus headset lol. Seriously though I feel like that's their vision and it's so far off what I believe and many others believe the real metaverse that is being born and created right now.
