It is, each day a new snapshot is taken and you get the air drop based on a number of things you own within the game.

If I were you, I would start playing, see how the game mechanics are. Currently it's great to win DEC and you can also rent good cards to be competitive.

how is that misleading lol you can earn SPS off of a basic pack buy in. Might not be alot but you still earn something. It's legit free tokens and it's fair game for everyone so I see nothing misleading about that at all.
