RE: What would ad revenue do for the Hive eco-system?

Anyways that aside I've gotten flak from Hive saying it wouldn't be worth it. Which to be is the dumbest thing in the world. Ad revenue alone runs multi billion dollar businesses like youtube, twitch, twitter etc.

Having this ad revenue come in and then applying it to buy back the Hive would at least bring value to the token or like leo is doing giving it back to people in the form of daily, weekly or a monthly ad shot.

Ad revenue is one of the most basic and first starting points any crypto should be looking at for generating value and it dumbfounds me why Hive doesn't see this or any of the front ends. Of course there's a limit to how many ads are too much but Leo has done a VERY good job at keeping it minimum.

I know. I was expecting it to come into force a long time ago but these things move slow. It's the way forward though and I'll be trying to buy up as much LEO as possible for when it does go live as it is a real business model which is almost unheard of in crypto. Sustainable income and value for the token.

It's obviously worth it. That is how business works. You have a product and sell it to a buyer. Then you have revenue. Even if it's small to start with, you need to keep growing it over time and when it gets large enough to provide a wage to enough users then you can bet that people will be scrambling to sign up for a blogging account.

Imagine if medium paid all of it's author form their ad revenue or facebook. It won't happen over night but we have the users and the content which puts us a lot of steps ahead of a new start up company.

The ads on LEO are very reasonable where they are and i will be delighted when we start to earn an income form those very same ads. There won't be many complaints then.
