That moment many of us have been eager for just happened a few hours ago. I was lucky enough to had bought a number of LEOMM miners back in the day which earn me a little LEO each day. In recent months I've come back to Hive but honestly primarily LEOFinance as I love finances, business and that elusive passive income! This made LeoFinance a solid home for me and one I wanted to support.
This years been busy for LEO token already and today I want to tell you a little about the airdrop but more importantly why I'm heavy on LeoFinance in general along with the LEO token on Hive.
Read that again! It's one of the most important quotes you will ever read in your life if you ever want to work for yourself.
LeoFinance and the team they have built are constantly building and creating. They have good ideas and yes while I firmly know ever project might not be a raging success that's just the nature of business. 9 times you fail the tenth seriously takes off. However those failures lead into successes and ultimately a very well rounded business that continues to thrive and pivot when needed.
I believe this to be the first of many airdrops and why I'll be stacking and having some liquid LEO constantly. The roadmap I've seen from them looks very promising and even though they have hit some delays with CUB that to be is totally understandable. I know we all have deadlines but rarely are they ever hit as unforeseen things come up or ways to do things better come up.
While yes it's important to take care of those issues and create an easy system they also seem to understand that time is an important factor. While everything might not be 100% perfect as long as the core foundations are sound they will roll it out. That's Important! They understand both security and making sure things work while also understanding long delays can really kill hype around a program. So far it seems to be a very good balance which builds even more confidence in this entire system they are building.

Ok,ok I know it's not the real airdrop screenshot so I have to admit. As soon as it dropped I claimed and staked it. Like no joke I think it was one maybe two minutes after lol Time is money right?
A little over 102 was claimed in the air drop not to bad. Roughly $450 from it but I'll of course be holding on to it for a while and seeing what I can make of DeFi and continue to learn it.

To claim your air drop if you have one do the following steps...
- Login to your HIVE account under https://leodex.io/
- Look for CUB in your wallets
- If you have some go to https://wleo.io/cub
- Type in your BSC address > If you don't have one look at my bLEO & BNB article I linked up above
- Type in how many CUB you want to deposit
- At some point here you need to type in your HIVE username as well and then confirm the transaction with keychain
- Wait about 1-2 minutes it's normally much faster than this and the transaction will confirm.
- Go to https://cubdefi.com/ login to your account and BOOM your CUB tokens should be sitting in your account.
That's all there's to it. Nice and simple process which I love and I'm sure many of you do. This also is why I'm loving LEO and the devs there. They understand that yes while something makes sense to them and the developers does it make sense to the average person? Most people want simple and easy and it's what drives adoption. Making things complicated and slow kills adoption and I believe LEOFinance understands this by what they have done here.
