I don't know about that but this often happens in the early days. The people running these tribes want to select a certain content. Often content that seems not fit for the tribe is downvoted and often they don't realize that by downvoting a post they also erase the hive value of it. For CTP Jon has created an account that has no hive power to do that but quite a lot of CTP tokens. Like that he can take away the CTP rewards but leaves the Hive rewards untouched.

I get that. if my content didn't fit, fine. But I guess it's subjective, I've never had 8 down votes, on any post I've ever done. Of course I cannot prove that the same person owns one or two of those down voting accounts. It's awfully suspicious though. But, if that will happen with every post, I can't afford to lose hive like that every time.
I totally understand your point. If there are 8 downvotes, I think it's not the site owners that gave them. It's not nice to give downvotes and not explain why they are given. It's frustrating for the people receiving them and they can't learn in the process.
