What are people's thoughts on Chainlink?

Chainlink

I first got involved in Crypto in late 2018. I was sniffing around the edges and reading up on it for years, however at that time pre late 2018, I was convinced that the whole thing was a get rich quick Ponzi scheme.

My opinions changed however and although I do still believe that 95% of crypto projects are pure shite shill-merchant Ponzi schemes, there are legitimate ones out there. Chainlink is one of them. I picked this one out 5 years ago and it has done quite well, along with some other picks. I also picked some which tanked big style.

Let's not talk about those ones today however. Instead let's talk about Chainlink.

I'm interested to hear what people think about Chainlink. Are any of the rest of you holding and have you set a target price at which you would be willing to sell?

It's been on a decent run over the past few months, along with Bitcoin, Ethereum and others as you'll see below and I do think it is prudent to have a target price to sell at.

I liked what I read and researched back in 2018 and I still do today. This one has stood the test of time and I'm still holding. This next graph shows where it has come from since day one. Impressive eh...

What is Chainlink and why is it impressive?

The webpage is slick, they have some good developers on the project and they have real world working applications and use cases.

Here is a link to their webpage for anyone interested in learning more.

Perhaps you are more visual like lots of us engineers, in which case this visual or what chainlink does may appeal more to you.

I am thinking about acquiring more Chainlink tokens as I feel this project still has huge potential and reading through this list of Chainlink advisors gives me confidence. What do you think?

I'm impressed that it has stayed around as long as it has. I never really did a lot of research on it, but the community was a bit of a turn off for me. They were all so fanatical, like bitconnect. That just rubbed me the wrong way.

Are there any communities that aren't fanatical in crypto? I have a couple of friends who say that about us🤣

Probably not, but LINK seemed to be a bit over the top.

It seems a very popular and hyped token, but I didnt find any usecase for it yet.

I like LINK and have been in there for years. We used to get good APRs when staking on CEX.
Horses for courses though, if you like it and believe in it, then fill your boots. Like any crypto I believe you have a sell point and take profits.

The thing about Link is it has been the most hyped crypto for years now and I do not think it fulfils its potential . This guy Serge is put on a pedestal and there are so many memes about him now likening him to a god. But back then it was around 8€ . It has increased but the way people were talking it should be going to €100. It's a weird one. It also seems to not follow the stable coins when they go down and up. It does a bit but seems to be on its own path
