Greetings to all friends, I hope you are very well! Today I want to share with you a review of the movie "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas", do you remember this movie? I thought it was interesting to choose this one among so many movies because of the plot and the drama that characterizes it, for people who have not yet seen this movie, believe me you will not waste your time and for those who have already seen it, you know that it is a good movie and also very emotional.
We can start by mentioning some basic details regarding the year of release which was in 2008, under the production of David Heyman and the direction of Mark Herman is a feature film drama with American and British productions and has a duration of about an hour and a half and is based on the novel by Irish writer John Boyne "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" released in 2006, so two years later we would have this feature film.

Me pareció interesante elegir entre tantas películas ésta en particular por la trama y el drama que la caracteriza, para las personas que aún no han visto ésta película, créanme no perderán su tiempo y para los que ya la vieron saben que se trata de una buena película y además muy emotiva.
Podemos comenzar mencionando algunos detalles básicos en cuanto al año de lanzamiento que fue en el 2008, bajo la producción de David Heyman y la dirección de Mark Herman es un largometraje de drama que con producciones estadounidenses y británicas y que cuenta con una duración de hora y media aproximadamente y se basa en la novela del escritor irlandés John Boyne "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" lanzada en el año 2006, así que dos años después tendríamos este largometraje.
This film production is based on the events of the Holocaust during the Second World War but from the point of view of a child and it is based on him that all the events unfold being the main protagonist as Bruno, the British actor Asa Butterfield, who must move from his home in a wealthy neighborhood in Berlin to a place called "Auschwitz" by the new position acquired by his father, a military officer of the Nazi regime who took the order to supervise this concentration camp where they had many Jews.
One day this boy... Bruno, realizes that there is a dividing fence with people wearing all striped pajamas and under the curiosity to know what it is and the naive adventure of a child, he enters this place where he meets a boy contemporary with his age, this is Shmuel character played by the also British actor Jack Scanlon and it is from that moment that they begin a friendship through the fence and hidden from Bruno's parents.
Ésta producción cinematográfica está basada en los sucesos del holocausto durante la segunda guerra mundial pero bajo el punto de vista de un niño y es en base a él que se desarrollan todos los sucesos siendo el protagonista principal como Bruno, el actor británico Asa Butterfield, quién debe mudarse de su casa en un barrio acomodado en Berlín a un lugar llamado "Auschwitz" por el nuevo cargo que adquirió su padre, un militar oficial del régimen Nazi que tomó la orden de supervisar este campo de concentración dónde tenían a muchos judíos.
Un día este niño... Bruno, se da cuenta que hay una alambrada divisoria con personas que llevan todas pijamas de rallas y bajo la curiosidad de saber que es y de la aventura ingenua de un niño, se adentra a este lugar en donde conoce a un niño contemporáneo con su edad, se trata de Shmuel personaje interpretado por el actor también británico Jack Scanlon y es a partir de ese momento que empiezan una amistad a través del alambrado y a escondidas de los padres de Bruno.
Subsequently, different events occur that I am careful not to mention because the intention is not to make any kind of spoiler but rather to narrate the depth and essence of this very interesting feature film. A story that the viewer can appreciate through the eyes and innocence of a child, who does not know what is really happening and does not even know that he is in an extermination camp, although his new friend tells him about his hardships and tragic events that he has been going through with his family.
I consider it a film that has a lot of meaning that allows us to internalize in terms of reflection and value what would be the unconditional friendship in this case between the two children with totally different conditions in a world full of cruelty and inequality. The friendship that these two little friends forge is pure and insistent, they do whatever it takes to be able to spend time together until Bruno manages to get through the fence and finally break that division.
Posteriormente ocurren diferentes sucesos que me cuido de mencionar porque la intención no es hacer algún tipo de spoiler sino más bien narrar la profundidad y escencia de este largometraje bastante interesante. Una historia que el espectador puede apreciar a través de los ojos y la inocencia de un niño, que no sabe lo que realmente está sucediendo y que ni siquiera conocer que está en un campo de exterminio, a pesar de que su nuevo amigo le narra sus penurias y trágicos sucesos que viene pasando con su familia.
Considero que es una película que tiene mucho significado que nos permite interiorizar en cuanto a la reflexión y valorar lo que sería la amistad incondicional para este caso entre ambos niños con condiciones totalmente diferentes en un mundo lleno de crueldad y desigualdad. La amistad que forjan estos dos amiguitos es pura e insistente, hacen lo que sea para poder pasar tiempo juntos hasta que Bruno logra pasar el alambrado y finalmente romper con esa división.
It is one of the most moving films I have ever seen, it is not easy to see images of the tragic events that the Jewish people went through from the perspective and innocence of a child. There are different reviews besides that the novel itself is much better than the feature film and they recommend reading it, it has approximately 200 pages and they mention that there are some slight changes between the novel and the film so it is a good option for those who are more interested in reading.

Es una de las películas más emotivas que yo he visto, no es nada fácil ver imágenes de los trágicos acontecimientos por los que pasó el pueblo judío bajo la perspectiva e inocencia de un niño. Existen diferentes críticas además de que la propia novela es mucho mejor que el largometraje y que recomiendan leerlo, tiene aproximadamente 200 páginas y mencionan que hay ciertos cambios ligeros entre la novela y la película así que es una buena opción para los que les interese más la lectura.
