What a lovely and big catch! I used to enjoy watching fishing shows and even play fishing simulation. I don't think they will actually top the actual fishing experience.
We have catfish over here but it ain't as big as in the US and I've always wanted to try american catfish. I tried making some here but ours is too small to be battered and fried 🤣

Yes catfish can grow upwards of 100 pounds here. There's 3 different species of them here. Hopefully I can share all three of them in a post soon. I keep the 2 to 10 lb catfish to harvest. Too much work with larger ones plus you want the big fish doing the spawning. They sure are fun to catch though, the largiest I caught was 85 pounds.
