Playa Grande, Mar del Plata
Greetings friends, I hope you are doing very well. As some of you already know, I have published some posts of my visit during a short vacation I had at the end of last year at the beach, Mar del Plata.
During those vacations I visited several places and beaches, among those places was Playa Grande, which has some stairs that allow us to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of this area and this beach. We wanted to see the sunset, so we decided to go there.
Saludos amigos, espero se encuentren muy bien. Como algunos ya conocen, he publicado algunos posts de mi visita en unas cortas vacaciones que tuve a finales del año pasado en la playa, Mar del Plata.
Durante esas vacaciones visite diversos lugares y playas, entre esos lugares se encuentra Playa Grande, la cual tiene unas escalinatas que nos permiten apreciar los hermosos paisajes de esta zona y de esta playa. Queríamos ver el atardecer, así que decidimos ir.
Commercial Area and Landscapes.
(Zona Comercial y Paisajes)
This commercial area is located right on the shore of this beach. It has numerous gastronomic establishments where we sit down to eat something, night dances that function during the day as coffee shops.
Many people go to the place even to do skateboard sports, walk, eat and the same people who are inside the beach, in the afternoon take the opportunity to stay in these places to consume and also admire these beautiful landscapes. That is exactly what we did.
Ésta zona comercial se encuentra a plena orilla de ésta playa. Tiene numerosos locales gastronómicos en dónde nos sentamos a comer algo, locales nocturnos de bailes que funcionan durante el día como tiendas de café.
Muchas personas asisten al lugar incluso a hacer deportes en patineta, caminar, comer y las mismas personas que están dentro de la playa, al llegar la tarde aprovechan para quedarse en estos locales a consumir y además admirar estos hermosos paisajes. Fué exactamente lo que nosotros hicimos.

And here is one of the nightclubs in the area, with a balcony that offers a great view of the sea.
Y aquí está una de las discotecas de la zona, con un balcón que ofrece una gran vista del mar.
Since I usually come to Mar del Plata it is impossible not to come and visit this place, but this special day I wanted to dedicate a little more time and take accurate pictures since the previous times I had not even visited it with a camera. This time I took my Nikon and my 50-200mm lens.
Desde que vengo habitualmente a Mar del Plata es imposible no venir y visitar este lugar, pero este día en especial quise dedicar un poco más de tiempo y hacer fotos precisas ya que las veces anteriores ni siquiera lo había visitado con cámara. En esta oportunidad tomé mi Nikon y mi lente 50-200mm.
These are the rocky stairs and paths where people usually go, walking or doing sports as in the case of this photograph.
You can see in the background some buildings.
Éstos son las escaleras rocosas y caminos por dónde las personas suelen ir, paseando o haciendo deportes como es el caso de esta fotografía.
Pueden ver en el fondo algunos edificios.
In this picture I show you that commercial area but for this occasion the sunset was more noticeable.
En esta fotografía les muestro aquella zona comercial pero para esta ocasión ya el atardecer era más notable.
In this photo you can see one of the scenes of this sunset and also numbers of awnings that are part of a private beach.
En esta foto se puede observar uno de los escenarios de este atardecer y también números toldos que forman parte de una playa privada.
Rocks and anonymous sculpture.

With a focal length of 200mm I wanted to capture these details, these areas much closer to be able to appreciate them from another perspective, to see the rocks and cliffs in more detail. While I was standing there taking these pictures I turned back and to my surprise I had there the famous anonymous sculpture of Mar del Plata.
Con una distancia focal de 200mm quise capturar estos detalles, estás zonas mucho más de cerca para poder apreciarlas desde otra perspectiva, ver las rocas y acantilados más en detalle. Mientras estaba parado allí tomando estás fotos giré hacia atrás y para mí sorpresa tenía allí la famosa escultura anónima de Mar del Plata.
A small family stands on these rocks, admiring and enjoying the natural scenery.
Una familia pequeña se encuentra sobre estas rocas, admirando y disfrutando de estos paisajes naturales.
Here is a group of people at the tip of this rocky "island" (I don't know why I didn't go there 😅)
Acá un grupo de personas en la punta de esta "isla" rocosa (no sé por qué no fuí hasta allá 😅)
This anonymous sculpture was placed here without permission and many people were surprised by this fact, however years later it was known that an anonymous artist put it there as a donation to the city of Mar del Plata, although his act was illegal, it was accepted.
Ésta escultura anónima fue puesta acá sin permiso y muchas personas se sorprendieron por este hecho, sin embargo años más tarde se conoció que un artista anónimo la puso allí con motivo de donación a la ciudad de Mar del Plata, a pesar de ser ilegal su acto, se aceptó.
The artist's name is Mario Magrini. I had already talked about this in a post I made in my beginnings if I am not mistaken.
El artista se llama Mario Magrini. Ya habia hablado de esto en un post que hice en mis inicios si no estoy equivocado.

We did this walk or visit with family and friends and while we were walking two friends asked me to take some pictures of them in the place, they were so delighted that they wanted to sit on the rocks and be photographed.
Éste paseo o visita la hicimos con familiares y amigos y mientras caminabamos dos amigas me pidieron que les tome algunas fotos en el lugar, estaban tan encantadas que querían sentarse en las rocas y ser retratadas 😅

Pink Sunset.

Finally I show you the landscapes that I really wanted to see and appreciate in this place. I want to share with you two series of this beautiful sunset where the first phase is a pink sky and allows us to see Playa Grande a little warmer and with these subtle tones.
Finalmente les muestro los paisajes que realmente quería ver y apreciar en este lugar. Quiero compartir con ustedes dos series de este hermoso atardecer en dónde la primera fase se trata de un cielo rosa y nos permite ver Playa Grande un poco más cálida y con estos tonos sutiles.
Orange Sunset.
(Atardecer Naranja)
The second phase became an orange sky with tones that went from light to harder tones until nightfall. I particularly loved this part of the sunset the most and it is one of my favorite photos. Besides being able to live the experience of admiring these beautiful landscapes in this city and in this specific beach.

La segunda fase se torno en un cielo naranja con tonos que fueron yendo desde claros hasta tonos más duros hasta caer la noche. Particularmente me encantó más está parte del atardecer y son unas de mis fotos favoritas. Además de poder vivir la experiencia de admirar estos hermosos paisajes en esta ciudad y en esta playa en específico.
