Hello Assalamualaikum @everyone, greetings to all from @theindicators.
How are you feeling today I hope all are well and I'm also good.
When I joined Hive, one thing I slowly realized was how important reading really is. In the beginning, I was mostly focused on posting. I wanted to write daily, stay consistent, and understand how this platform works. But with time, I understood that reading other people’s posts was just as important as writing my own.
Reading on Hive helped me improve my thinking and writing style. When I read posts from experienced Hive users, I learned how they structure their ideas, how they explain simple things in a meaningful way, and how they connect personal experiences with useful lessons. Honestly, this changed the way I write today.
Developing a reading habit improves knowledge, but it also builds understanding and patience. I noticed that when I started reading regularly, my vocabulary improved and my sentences became clearer. I was able to express my thoughts better in my posts and comments. Before that, I often felt confused about how to start or end a post.
For students and learners, reading is a powerful tool. It helps build concepts instead of just memorizing information. Personally, reading daily posts and articles on Hive helped me understand different topics and perspectives. This also boosted my confidence when interacting with others in the community.
Another thing I personally experienced is mental calmness. Reading reduces stress. Sometimes I open Hive not to post, but just to read and learn. It refreshes my mind and motivates me to stay active and consistent.
Even reading for 10–15 minutes a day can make a difference. On Hive, reading is not just a habit, it is part of growth.
In conclusion, the reading habit plays a key role in personal and learning growth. From my Hive journey, I can say that reading regularly has helped me improve my knowledge, confidence, and overall quality of posts.
