Irven was sitting in his room in the underground palace of vampires, with tears of anger in his eyes. He couldn't believe that after all the service he had done for his master, his rival, Icarus, had been chosen to become a vampire.
He remembered the first time he had seen his master, Rayford. At that time, he was a three-year-old child and he was playing in the garden of their mansion, and Rayford, with his tall stature, jewel-like eyes, and marble-white skin, came towards him through the darkness.
Irven stared at him with wide eyes and open mouth for a while and then asked him if he was an angel. At this moment, Rayford's well-shaped lips were parted and the sound of his loud and supernatural laughter filled the garden.
"Yes, sweet child, I am an angel and I want to give you a mission. If you do it right, I will reward you greatly."
"What reward? Lots of chocolates?"
Rayford bent down and placed his hands on Irven's shoulders.
"Something more delicious than chocolate."
Little Irven smiled happily.
"What should I do?"
Rayford took out a bottle from his pocket and gave it to him.
"Pour this in your grandfather's food."
"What's in this bottle?"
"A tonic. You know, your grandfather is sick and needs to take medicine, but he's stubborn like a child and refuses to do this. That's why we have to secretly give him the medicine."
"I understood."
And so Irven killed his grandfather, who was the greatest hunter of vampires, and received his reward, which was some of Rayford's blood.
Since then, he regularly performed missions for the master Rayford and drank his blood and became stronger, and he always had this dream in his head that one day his master would turn him into a vampire.
But now Rayford had decided to turn his beautiful lover Icarus, and this made Irven's whole being full of fire.
"I will take revenge on the master and I know very well how to do it."
And that's how Irven stepped on the path to becoming a vampire hunter, a hunter whose name makes vampires shudder.
