I like your title. It threw me off-guard as I began you story.

She must have been so afraid! Court can go either way, depending on who has the most money, the better lawyer, or the judge's ear. Good story!

Hello @owasco. Thanks for visiting. I'm pleased you found my story interesting. Yes, it can be scary going into court proceedings when you are unfamiliar with the process. Too often people bring frivolous suits for a variety of mean-spirited reasons. Filtering through the truth can sometimes be difficult.

Many do not have the resources for lengthy court battles and often just give up.
