Being lost differs from "middle of somewhere". It's not confusion; it's pause. It's that silent spot where you are not yet going where you started but not yet at where you're headed. Though unclear, things are also not empty. Something is happening just not very forcefully.

Being here could seem odd. Progress is not always visible as movement. Though something profoundly internal is changing, certain days seem still, like nothing is moving. You start to doubt yourself: have you done enough; are you on the right course; does this place even matter?

The middle, however, serves its own unique purpose.

It's when education gets in. When one's patience is stretched. Where you acquire knowledge on how to go without regular encouragement.

Having center position means you are already shifting. Even if you don't know it yet, you have left something behind. And ahead there is something waiting even though it's not visible.

Thus it may be acceptable to be here—not racing, not caught, just between. Because the middle is not always a delay. It is a component of the journey.
