Corruption is rampant, it can be found in offices, it's in politics, and it's ingrained in the institutions designed to save us. It starts with modest bribes, favoritism, and unclear agreements. Soon, it becomes Normal. Roads spoils days after being built. Jobs go to the highest bidder instead of than the most suited. Public funds vanish into private pockets. The population suffers, but a handful individuals grow wealthy.

What hurts most is how it is embraced. "That's how things work," they argue, as if it were immutable. Corruption is more than a habit; it's a decision. And every time we look away, we reinforce it.

Still, there is hope. Change can begin with an honest voice, a refusal to pay a bribe, or a courageous stride against the trend. It is not easy, but doing the right thing rarely is. To combat corruption, we must first believe that it is worthwhile to do so. Because if we don't, we're already losing. Silence is no longer an option.
