Although it has many years of significance, a horseshoe is an iron, a curve one. It seems at first sight to be only a device made to protect a horse's hooves from damage, so enabling longer and more distant travels. More than its practical use, though, it has come to look like something with religion and society.
Those that Fars, those that travels, and the families have given it priority over the entrances, they expect it to greet blessings and drive away shadows of bad luck.
Its form, it's a crescent, it's reflects the moon, another sign of cycles, newness, and subdued might. A horseshoe reminds us that sometimes strength is found in consistent steps, in resilience hammered into form, and in faith passed down over decades rather than in a deafening roar. It symbolizes the meeting of utility and mystery, of perseverance and hope whether nailed to a hoof or resting on a wall.
