“Pass me the helmet,” I requested, not only because I wanted to stay safe but also because I was ready for what was coming. It wasn’t just about being safe; it signified stepping into something risky, something real. That moment was important. You don’t ask for a helmet when you are simply standing still. You ask for it when you are prepared to move, stumble, fight, or soar.

When you go for your gear, there’s a change. Your mindset changes. You stop observing and start acting. The helmet serves as a shield between you and fear, separating uncertainty from courage. It’s your silent agreement that you recognize the risks, yet you choose to go ahead anyway.

At times, in life, all you need to say is, “hand me the helmet. ” It signifies that you’re done waiting, avoiding, and second-guessing. You’re ready to move ahead—maybe into a fight, or maybe towards freedom. But one thing is clear: you are diving in, driven by determination and a head that needs to be safeguarded.
