Waking this morning, I came to see that I had no agenda for the day. Typically, people want to manage their time using lengthy checklists of chores, schedules, and alerts. Plans often make us in charge of our time and ready. Today, nevertheless, feels different. The day seems blank and serene, almost like a blank canvas waiting for something to be written on it.
But as time goes on, I start to consider it differently. Not having a plan could also be liberation. It means I am not bound to any inflexible schedule or tension. I have the option to pick what to do at any time. I might stroll, study a book, hang out with a friend, or merely ponder fresh ideas. Often the most fascinating and unforgettable events take place when things are not meticulously organized beforehand.
