#freewrite :: Prompt for Day 1048: vampire

in Freewriters4 years ago

School has just started and every child was queuing up, following the rules and guidelines of wearing masks and face shields, distancing themselves about a meter away from each other. It took a long time to get into class but the children seemed excited about coming back to school although the parents were very worried.

The school was quite lenient when it came to masks, allowing students to wear the masks of their choice as long as it was 3-ply. There were different colours and designs covering everyone's nose and mouth.

As the queue was moving, a long black car arrived at the driveway and a boy stepped out of the car. He wore a cape and a face mask that had fangs like a vampire printed on it. The teachers looked at each other, baffled, while the children stared at the boy, wondering if it was Halloween already.

I wish the story is longer as it started off interesting =) It seems like the first page of a vampy novel.

Hehe... only 5 minutes for a freewrite and it stopped there :D But I will think about your feedback if this can be turned into a vampy novel :D
Thank you @yashny. Hope all is good there for you.

haha, a good image for @photo52 next week prompt. sadly its not you photo. and I do not go to school to take such a shot myself, hehe )))))

Haha.. yah.. too old for school at the moment. Maybe I can sneak in to one hmm.

thats a great idea. I think I have to try too, with a camera, and talk out they let me make some shooting... my baby entered 5 grade this September! so I am not completely "stranger from the street" there. in such a case, that would be totally out of the question, at all..

BUT - maybe later. for the challenge, I have a far, far easier ways: just my baby at her desktop, with her schoolbooks, copybooks, pens, etc :P I havent decided yet.
